At the end of the exhibition, some of the archeological finds returned to the State storehouses and others contributed to the formation of the first set-up of the Civic Museum of Nepi, which is open regularly to the public since June 1995 and located inside the Sala Nobile of the Municipal Palace of Nepi. At the beginning of 1996 the museum exhibition was moved temporarily in the subterranean rooms of the Municipal Palace and in this period the museum set-up was enriched with several ceramic and stony archeological finds recovered inside the Borgia’s Castle in Nepi.

today

In 2003 a new scientific set-up project was developed by the museum’s direction in collaboration with the Soprintendenza Archeologica offices.
