Photographic exhibition organized in collaboration with "Terramare" Cultural Association. Photographic walk and guided tours to the Civic Museum of Nepi, the Saint Savinilla Catacombs and the Borgia's Castle.

Civic Museum of Nepi activities go on with a photographic exhibition organized in collaboration with “Terramare” Cultural Association.

Exhibition will start on Thursday 27 June and will last till Sunday 7 July. During these days will take place different activities like a photographic walk along the city center of Nepi on Sunday 30 June or two guided tours to the Civic Museum of Nepi, Saint Savinilla Catacomb, Borgia’s Castle and “Tre Ponti” Necropolis on the 29 June and 6 July.

These activities will take care both on the knowledge of our cultural heritage and our territory. The exhibition will be an occasion to talk about “plastic free”; the limitation or sacrifice to use disposable plastic items (bottles, dishes, etc…) whose reckless dispersal is causing significant damage in particular to the marine ecosystem.

Mr Ennio La Malfa, National Secretary of “Accademia Kronos Onlus”, Madame Rita Vergini and Mr Massimo Petrella of “SalvaguardiAmo Bracciano” Association will talk about this important topic.

Thursday 27 June 5pm (Civic Museum of Nepi)

Photographic Exhibition Opening and discussions about the topic of a “Plastic Free” world. Different people will take part at the opening:

The opening will end with a taste of wines from Cantine Capitani located in the near Trevignano Romano(RM).

Friday 28 June 5pm (Civic Museum of Nepi)

“A tale of our museum: about some exceptional archaeological finds on display in the Civic Museum of Nepi”, speech by Stefano Francocci (Director of the Civic Museum of Nepi). Participants will be able to experience virtual reality through the use of some VR viewers that reconstruct the interior of the tombs of the near “Sante Grotte” Necropolis.

Saturday 29 June 4pm

Guided tour of the Civic Museum of Nepi, Borgia’s Castle and Saint Savinilla Catacomb with the staff of our Civic Museum. We will meet in front of the Civic Museum located in Nepi, Via Falisca n. 31 at 3:45pm. This guided tour costs 8 Euros (free for children up to 14 years) and will last about 3 hours. Reservation is required and the minimum number of 8 adult participants must be reached.

Photographic walk through the historical center of Nepi.

Saturday 6 July 4:30pm

Civic Museum of Nepi and “Tre Ponti” Necropolis guided tours along the Ancient Amerina Road with the staff of our museum. We will meet in front of the museum located in Nepi in Via Falisca n. 31 at 4:15pm. Comfortable clothing with long trousers, closed or trekking shoes, light jacket and a bottle of water is recommended. The move to the Ancient Amerina Road will take place with your own car (it is about 5 km far from the center of Nepi. This guided tour costs 8 Euros (free for children up to 14 years) and will last about 3 hours. Reservation is required and the minimum number of 8 adult participants must be reached.

Sunday 7 July 5pm (Civic Museum of Nepi)

At the end of the ceremony there will be a taste of wines from Cantine Capitani located in the near Trevignano Romano (RM) and other tipical products from our territory.
