The Civic Museum of Nepi contributes to the diffusion of the knowledge, the conservation and the valorization of the artistic and historical local heritage.
The Civic Museum of Nepi identifies its mission in the “museum” definition by ICOM (International Councils of Museums): “The museum is a permanent non-profit institution, at the service of society and its development. It is open to the public and carries out researches regarding historical material and immaterial evidences of humanity; it acquires them, it preserves and communicates them, and above all, it exposed them for studying, education and pleasure purposes.
Enhancement and Promotion
The museum wants to guard, preserve, valorize and promote the study of its collection, to increase the knowledge of the cultural heritage of Nepi and its territory.
